Where we are

Prignano Cilento is one of Cilento’s most ancient villages whose former name was “ Puglisi”. The old centre still preserves its narrow alleys lined with old stone portal buildings which seem to embrace each other. If you stroll through the village, you can admire feudal buildings, fourteenth-century churches and chapels keeping period frescoes. The preservation of customs and traditions handed down from generation to generation and the culinary potential of an area renowned for its abundance of local produce such as white figs, wine and extra-virgin olive oil make the village an ideal place for walking and cultural holidays. An interesting stop is the beautiful conservation area of Alento river Dam, located at Piano della Rocca and famous for the restocking of the river banks. Prignano Cilento is perfectly placed for exploring the Cilento Coast, the Amalfi Coast and many tourist attractions such as Pompeii, Paestum, Velia, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Monastery of Padula, Pertosa caves and Castelcivita caves. Besides, there are so much unspoilt countryside to explore and a diverse stretch of coastline to investigate with some of the finest beaches and picturesque villages to be found in Southern Italy .
